Oluwafemi Oyelakin Peter is an indigene of Oyo State and Ibadan Precisely. Oluwafemi also known as Fancy B spent his Childhood days in Challenge area of Ibadan, the hood he will always pay homage to. His stage name “Fancy B” was borne out of friends making jest of his black skin colour, the word “Fancy” in it came up in his reply to them by saying they Fancy his black skin colour.

As it is for so many artists, Oluwafemi never had his mum’s backing for his music career when he started out singing at the age of 17.
